Forged Elbow
Raj Industrials is a well-known supplier of Forged Elbows in India, offering products with reasonably good cold working properties. These Forged Elbows can be moderately drawn and formed in the annealed condition. Due to the wide range of widths, thicknesses, and variety of tempers produced, no flatness tolerances have been established for cold rolled stainless steel in our Forged Elbows. However, flatness cannot be guaranteed on temper rolled Forged Elbows.
Our Forged Elbows undergo an ageing treatment at a low temperature, minimising significant distortion. They are particularly well-suited for the production of long shafts, eliminating the need for re-straightening after heat treatment. To prevent cracking, especially in heavy sections, parts of our Forged Elbows should be preheated within a specified temperature range. Additionally, since these Forged Elbows are air hardening, immediate annealing after welding is recommended.
